The T.C.C LLC Lab is not just a training ground - it is a living, rapidly evolving R&D center where cutting-edge solutions for the telecom market are created and tested. In Q3 2025, the team achieved several key milestones that strengthened the company’s technological sovereignty and expanded its engineering expertise.
Major Projects of the Quarter:
✓ Migration to Cloud Technologies
BSC/RNC controllers were successfully launched on a cloud computing platform. This strategically important step opens broad opportunities for replacing legacy hardware with flexible, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions.
✓ Development of Compact Network Solutions
For use cases requiring minimal footprint and high efficiency, compact packet core products were deployed. A dedicated management application with a simplified and intuitive interface was developed, significantly accelerating system interaction.
Key Achievements in the Lab Mobile Network:
✓ Development of an HLR Emulator
A Home Location Register (HLR) emulator was created, enabling fully authenticated voice calls within the TCC lab environment. Successful calls were made between subscribers across different generations: 2G↔️2G, 3G↔️3G, and 2G↔️3G.
✓ First VoLTE Call
A VoLTE (Voice over LTE) call was successfully executed, including scenarios such as VoLTE↔️VoLTE, CS↔️VoLTE, and VoLTE↔️VoIP. What makes this achievement particularly notable is that the call was completed via the compact pLTE packet core - a platform not originally designed for such tasks due to its specialized functionality. This once again demonstrated the team’s deep expertise in network configuration and optimization.
Today, the TCC Lab is a place where the future of telecommunications is being built. We not only test existing solutions but actively develop our own, delivering innovative products and technologically independent infrastructure options to the market.
